Three (3) Postdoctoral Positions in Metal Corrosion & Materials Genome Innovation, University of Science & Technology Beijing, China (2015-2016)

We would like to invite applications for 3 postdoctoral position(s) in Repassivation of Metals and Alloys, Materials Corrosion in Marine Environment, Materials Genome Innovation. The successful candidate will join a research group leading by Prof. Dongbai Sun. His group is focusing on: Failure of structural materials and their safety evaluation, Multiphase flow corrosion processes and their electrochemical detection and evaluation, Computer simulation of material failure process, Corrosion mechanism of engineering materials and formation mechanism of nanomaterials based on Synchrotron Radiation techniques, Formation mechanism and performance control as well as applications of amorphous nanomaterials. It is expected that the successful candidate will conduct research in National Center for Materials Safety Service (NCMS). The position is associated to mainly three projects:

1) Study on electrochemical transient signal response and the stability of repassivation film during the repassivation process of alloys;
2) Basic research on key technologies of marine engineering equipment materials corrosion and protection;

The employment is time limited to 2 years which may be extended with additionally one year
