PhD Positions – Gramazio Kohler Research / NCCR Digital Fabrication
Since 2014, the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication conducts highly collaborative research at the intersection of architecture, structural engineering, material science, computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics and control systems engineering. Aimed at fostering a digital building culture it is oriented toward the training of scholars and the development of advanced practitioners in the fields of architecture, engineering and science.
We are looking for highly motivated architects with a strong interest in computational design and digital fabrication. We particularly encourage applicants with experience in robotic fabrication in architecture. Applicants should have the ability to work in interdisciplinary research teams and thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree acquired at university level (equivalent to the FHEQ-Level 7) in architecture or related fields.
