Internal Audit Traineeship Programme at European Central Bank

The European Central Bank (ECB) is seeking applicants for a unique trainee programme that will give you the chance to spend a year at the heart of the Eurosystem’s internal audit function and participate in internal audit missions in up to three different European countries.

The programme also includes up to two four-month assignments at national central banks or national supervisory authorities.

You will be given the chance to gain first-hand experience of working in internal audit under the guidance of experienced auditors, while participating in a dedicated training programme which focuses on technical and behavioural skills.

The traineeship aims to give you:

extensive on-the-job experience of working in international teams;
a clear insight into internal audit at both the ECB and national central banks/national supervisory authorities;
experience in up to three European countries;
a chance to use your language skills;
a structured training programme on the role of an auditor and the organisations to which you are assigned.
