The present international and peer-reviewed call seeks to recruit 10 promising and motivated postdoctoral clinician-scientists of the BITRECS training research programme. A new mobility scheme and updated eligibility criteria are now available!

What is Bitrecs?

BITRECS is an IDIBAPS fellowship programme for excellent clinician-scientists receiving funding from the European Commission. A network of 18 partner organisations provides the programme with an added value.

This 36-month fellowship, as a research only placement, will allow the successful postdoctoral candidates to boost their research careers with the purpose to become clinician-scientist leaders in the future.Professionals with different backgrounds are accepted (medical doctors, pharmacists, biologists, psychologists, between others). To apply to BITRECS all candidates accomplishing the eligibility criteria will have to:

• Choose one of the two available mobility schemes (outgoing or incoming);
• Design a research proposal fitted into one of the IDIBAPS research lines;
• Fill in and submit the form through the application tool in order to be evaluated.

Each fellow will receive around 50.000€ as annual gross salary. They will also benefit from life-long training and networking opportunities especially related to career development, business and entrepreneurship.
