The Laboratory of Organic Electronics (LOE) at Linköping University is now recruiting 7 PhD students and 2 international postdoctoral scholars. Do you have a background in Materials Science, Biotechnology, Electronics, Chemistry, Physics or Computational Psysics/Chemicsty within the areas and want to pioneer Wallenberg Wood Science Center (WWSC) research at Linköping University?
WWSC is an internationally leading joint research center including groups from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, and Linköping University, with base funding from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. The mission of WWSC is to create knowledge and develop technology based on biopolymers from trees. At Linköping University (LiU), the WWSC research is conducted at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics in Norrköping. At LOE, we study conducting organic materials and functional biopolymers from the forest to derive hybrid materials applied in an array of areas ranging from energy harvesting and printed electronics to photonics and bioelectronics. The LOE researchers in WWSC work in a cross-disciplinary and creative environment with access to advanced laboratory facilities in close collaboration with colleagues at KTH and Chalmers.
