12 PhD Positions, ArthritisHeal Project, Europe (2019)

The ArthritisHeal project aims to train young researchers to generate novel therapeutic targets focusing on the role of pro-resolving lipids in two rheumatic diseases; osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The network is composed of 7 universities and 2 companies that will train 12 ESRs. In addition, 8 associated partners will provide secondment opportunities and training in topics such as regulatory and IP issues, presentation skills and career development. The beneficiaries combine expertise in clinical sciences, pre-clinical RA and OA models, biochemistry and data analysis. Each ESR will follow a personalized training programme covering all aspects of development of novel therapeutic targets, from discovery to validation in patients.

Requirements
Eligibility criteria for the ESR
- You should not have resided in the country of the recruiting beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date
- You should be in the first four years of your research career at the date of recruitment
- You do not have a doctoral degree yet
