PhD Positions in Aerosol Technology, Lund University, Sweden (2015)

The main task is to devote yourself to your own research training which includes both graduate courses and participation in research projects. The appointment also includes involvement in teaching and other departmental work (maximum 20%). Employment is limited to 5 years (at 20% departmental duties). A substantial part of the research is expected to be experimental, but also theoretical modeling and analysis of data is included.

Students with basic eligibility for third-cycle studies are those who: have completed a second-cycle degree, have completed courses of at least 240 credits, of which at least 60 credits are from second-cycle courses, or have acquired largely equivalent knowledge in some other way, in Sweden or abroad.

To be eligible, applicants must also have at least 50 credits of relevance to the topic area, including at least 25 credits at advanced level, or engineering degree, master's degree or master's degree relevant to the topic area. Examples of relevant topic areas are physics, chemistry, nanoscience, fluid technology, microbiology and medicine. Applicants should have an excellent knowledge of English, writing as well as orally. Finally, the applicant needs to be considered having the skills necessary to complete the program. Exemption from the admission requirements can be given by the Board of Faculty of Engineering.
