2 PhD positions are available in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the PROTON Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of New Mexico, USA.
The position requires strong competencies in programming (C/C++, Python, Matlab) and excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Solid background in mathematics, proven problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills are considered a plus. The position is fully supported by NSF grants. The candidate must have a master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer engineering or computer science or telecommunication engineering or a related study with excellent results. The candidate must have a high
motivation for research, and be able to work both independently, as well as in a team.
