The offered positions are available with a starting date in the period from May 1st, 2020 – January 1st, 2021 for a maximum duration of 3 years.
The ESRs will acquire multidisciplinary scientific expertise, complementary skills, and experience working in both academia and industry. The GW4SHM consortium consists of 12 beneficiaries and 10 partner organisations involving universities, research organisations, government agencies and industries from 8 European Countries: Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom. The consortium, coordinated by Dr. Jens Prager from the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung), Berlin, Germany, will perform cutting edge research and training in the field of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) focusing on aeronautics, petrochemistry and the automotive sector.
