The recognition of non-formal learning became more and more important since the introduction of Youthpass in 2007. This Training course aims to provide practical support in facilitating compilation of the Youthpass process and explores means and ways in which Youthpass can be given more weight. Thus as a result the learning outcomes brought about through youthwork can be more easily recognised.

What is the aim of this Training Course?
The aim is to facilitate the “Youthpass process” and as a result emphasise the recognition of non-formal learning outcomes.

Training for Trainers - S.O.S Solutions is a training course what has been developed by ReCreativity Social Enterprise especially for people working in the field of non-formal education. The program will take place in Alsótold, Hungary between 10-18 June with 33 participants from 9 different countries: Spain, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy, Romania and Hungary and is supported by the Erasmus+ programme.

The main focus of the project is sustainability - both environmentally and concerning the the learning process as well.

Art and the power of artistic expression allow people to connect in ways that transcend traditional forms of communication fail to. By using various form of art, inter-cultural dialogue can be achieved in an alternative but very effective way. In sum, a “thinking out of the box” innovative approach combining the three key elements (non-formal education, ICT and cultural tools) that – according to what affirmed above - can lead to employability seems to be one of the solutions to the challenges and needs listed.

The seminar "Models of youth participation at the local level in Europe" will bring together various stakeholders in the field, such as non-governmental organisations, local authority representatives, researchers, youth workers, youth leaders and young people to discuss the importance of youth participation in Europe. Local youth communities need strong, engaged and aware youth that would participate in decision making and, very often, initiate dialogue with other important community actors regarding Youth issues at the local level.
