The project proposal is based on the primary goal of the strategic partnership programme :

that is to allow organisations to develop and reinforce networks, increase their capacity to operate at transnational level, share and confront ideas, practices and methods. Selected projects may also produce tangible outputs and are expected to disseminate the results of their activities, although in a way that is proportional to the aim and scope of the project.

The priority of the proposal is inspired by the orizontal prority of the programme:

We are a pre - primary school called "Buratino" from Bulgaria, the town of Kazanlak, in the famous Valley of

Roses. Our region is famous for its hereditary of the ancient Thracian culture.

Our students are between 3 - 7 years old . They are divided into 4 groups by age. In the pre primary school the

children have the possibility to deal with different activities as Music., Bulgarian and English Languages, Art, Dance.

The title of the project will be: “New challenges for public libraries".

General information Kazanlak Municipality is situated in the central part of Republic Bulgaria. It is in the foot of Balkan Mountain Range in Kazanlak plain, which is part of Rose Valley. Municipality includes twenty places of residence – three towns and seventeen villages. The population of the whole municipality is 72 581 people, as the town Kazanlak has population of 47 325 people. It is the biggest non regional town in Bulgaria and the second biggest in the Stara Zagora Province. The town is important industrial center. It has very rich material and cultural heritage.
