As P&G Engineers, the company is responsible for inventing, reapplying and developing technologies required to support the production process of our world class consumer products. We are also managing the company's multimillion dollar capital investments. To sustain our leading position in an increasingly innovative environment, our fully automated plants are constantly renewed based on in-house technology developments and use of the most advanced technologies.
As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to figure out what your personal interests are, while at the same time improving your career prospects. We aim to hire most of our engineers through our internship program. You will also personally benefit from having experience in one of the most admired companies in the world (#17 spot on FORTUNE’s list of Most Admired Companies).
Doing an internship in P&G Engineering is:
Put your technical skills to work in a challenging environment
Manage your own project, with direct application in some of our production plants
Receive high-quality coaching and training
Be part of a multi-functional and multi-cultural team
Learn how to work effectively with people of different nationalities, and of different cultural & educational backgrounds
Improve your interpersonal and team skills through practical experience.
Within the Engineering department, you could be in charge of:
The development of new innovative technologies
The study and implementation of best-in-class technical solutions
The modeling of our manufacturing units
The management of a new equipment introduction
The improvement of our fabrication processes
You will receive a performance appraisal - just as we appraise our permanent staff; write regular reports, and give a presentation of the results of your work to management.
Your internship will last minimum 12 weeks, going up to 6 months (or longer upon your request). You will be able to demonstrate leadership capability, the ability to work effectively with others, and practical experience applying your engineering skills competently. You will be self-starting, fluent in English with possibly another language, and will want an international career.
Internships are offered in the Brussels Innovation Center (Belgium).
