You can join the community through the Associate Programme, which provides the space you need to jump-start a purpose-led career. Past Associates have described it as 'transformative' and 'crucial to helping me understand how I could apply my skills to something truly fulfilling'. Here's how it works:
Experience: You work in a purpose-oriented organisation for six months - for example, tackling food waste with Fareshare or poverty with the Big Issue. You meet like-minded people and grapple with a variety of problems. Then you do it over again at a different organisation.
Support: Regular mentoring and coaching sessions help you increase your impact. Not to mention the support of the rest of the community: 'from mentors, coaches, our cohort, to the On Purpose team and broader network – the people element is invaluable' (Clemence, a past Associate).
Inspiration: Every Friday afternoon, you head back to base for training. We're privileged to receive training run by top professionals from the Social Investment Business, McKinsey, the Design Council and more. The training introduces you to new ways of thinking and gives you the knowledge you need to achieve your potential.
You're also supported financially: we provide a £22,500 stipend for your year of training and development. After the programme, 90% of Associates continue to work in purpose-led organisations and tell us that they are significantly happier in their jobs.
The programme is full-time, based in London and runs for 12 months from the 5th October 2016. Applications close on Monday 31th May 2016. If you're ready to do work that matters you can find out more and apply at http://onpurpose.uk.com
