The new FMI International MD-PhD Program provides advanced, interdisciplinary training in epigenetics, neurosciences and research on mechanisms of disease. MD-PhD students admitted to the program receive theoretical and practical training, and conduct a research project under the supervision of an FMI group leader, advised by a Thesis Committee of experts.
The FMI has dynamic intellectual environment and excellent technical resources. MD-PhD students learn to formulate scientific questions and are introduced to highly advanced techniques and experimental analysis at multiple levels of biological organization.
Interested candidates with a medical degree (MD) should submit their application by September 30, 2016 at www.fmi.ch.
Interviews of selected candidates will take place in Basel on November 1 and 2, 2016.
