Applications are invited for ten postdoctoral fellowships in science and religion/theology. The fellowships will run for two-years, beginning September 2017, and will be hosted in a Department of Theology/Religion at one of 18 participating universities from the US, UK, and Europe. Fellows will receive a competitive salary and a generous research and travel budget. They will conduct their own research on a topic of their choosing that fits the project research vision, teach one class in science and religion, and participate in a fully-funded series of workshops together with the other postdoctoral fellows, their mentors, and senior scholars in the field. Applications Due: December 9, 2016
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a PhD in theology (broadly conceived) or a science. Advanced degrees in both theology/religion and a science are preferable. The successful candidate will have potential for world-class research at the intersection of theology and science, a clearly-defined research agenda that is both ambitious and achievable, and excellent teaching skills. When selecting a host institution, candidates are encouraged to apply elsewhere from where they obtained their PhD.
