The astroparticle theory group currently has interests in the physics of cosmic accelerators (such as supernova remnants, gamma-ray bursts and active galactic nuclei), the propagation of various messengers, neutrino physics and space plasma physics. We are particularly interested in scientists working in one of the following areas:
- Non-thermal sources: Particle acceleration or radiation modelling
- Multi-messenger astrophysics
- Neutrino phenomenology
- Kinetic studies of wave-particle interactions in space and their laboratory tests
The successful candidates will be part of the ERC working group ”Neutrinos and the origin of the cosmic rays” (Walter Winter), or expected to work within the group of Martin Pohl.
