Thanks to a generous grant from the A G Leventis Foundation, three postgraduate studentships are available for students who wish to pursue a full-time higher degree programme (MA by Research or PhD) in the fields of Modern Greek (including Cypriot) literature, language, history and culture.

Value of Award
The studentships will cover University tuition fees for one year only (at the rate applicable to UK and EU students) and may be applied for annually subject to a satisfactory progress report. Subsistence costs will not be covered.
Eligibility Criteria
These awards are open to students worldwide for full-time, campus-based research in Modern Greek (including Cypriot) literature, language, history and culture .
Applications for funding can only be considered alongside an application to study.
To apply for an MA by Research, candidates should have a first class or upper second class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. For a PhD, candidates should also have completed, or be completing, a master’s degree in a relevant subject.
