The Economics and Market Analysis department of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) is seeking candidates currently studying for a masters' degree or a PhD -as well as postdoctoral candidates- to join our team as trainees. The aim of the traineeships is to provide promising young professionals with an opportunity to understand how the ESM works, while contributing to its mission and pursuing their research interests.
The European Stability Mechanism (“ESM”) is the permanent crisis resolution mechanism for euro area countries. It provides financial assistance to Member States facing financial stability problems, and issues debt instruments to fund this financial support.
The ESM is a unique place to work with around 190 individuals from around the world committed to making a difference to the future of the euro area. ESM staff comprises professionals from both the private and public sector.
