Professional and amateur photographers from all over the world are invited to participate in the International Photo Contest, dedicated to climate change and protection of ozone layer, which will be held from July 10 to September 11, 2017.
Show us and tell us through your photos what the world struggle for the protection of the ozone layer means to you, what impact the depletion of ozone layer has on human health and the environment, and what measures are being undertaken in your country.
The photo contest is held in two categories: “Climate change in my eyes” and “Ozone layer and I”.
Eligibility
Through the photos, you might also wish to express your creative vision of the most pressing problem of nowadays – global climate change. Capture the moments that inform about the environmental challenge louder than words, show how climate change has affected the quality and standard of living of people, what are the consequences of climate change for humanity. Perhaps you might also demonstrate that struggle against climate change is not a burden at the time of tremendous opportunity for every country in the world.
International Photo Contest will be held in 2 or 3 stages:
- Preliminary selection of photos if the total number of the photos received exceeds 100;
- Online voting on the website www.envcontest.uz;
- Evaluation by the jury and selection of winners.
Award
20 photos that have passed to the third stage will be displayed at a special photo exhibition to be held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and over the website of the International Photo Contest on September 11, 2017, on the eve of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.
