The main aim is to equip youth workers with coaching and NLP methods and techniques, increasing their ability of supporting the youth in their communities.

This ability is improved as NLP offers flexibility, creativity and proven results in empowerment, higher self-esteem, motivation, selfawareness, and clarity of purpose among the youth. We will measure the results of the project with different instruments, the most important are the coaching logs that you will use to note key aspects of the BLP coaching sessions and workshops you undertake between the TCs.

The two mobilities are delivering two linked courses: in the first one (20-20 Sept) you are developing your knowledge and skill in the application of NLP and coaching methods. These will be practiced in between the two TCs with specific tasks.

The second mobility (19-29 Nov) will bring a deeper understanding on how these methods can be of further help into creating activities, and working more effectively with youth groups within the community.

THE METHODS

Art of Changing will involve 18 youth workers in workshops, activities, reflections and evaluations held with non-formal, learning by doing and direct experience methods.

The majority of tools and techniques can be used within one-to-one, group and organizational setting, and at the end of each activity, in the debriefing sessions, the group together with the trainer/facilitator will clarify how, what and where these methods can be deployed.

THE OBJECTIVES :

O1. Developing practical knowledge, competences and abilities of 24 youth workers of the participating NGOs on acquiring the foundation principles of coaching & NLP in order to act and overcome any issue caused by an internal pressing inner states.
O2. Exchanging good practices and insights acquired in TC1 and through the own experience of youth workers to gain further depth of their learning when working disadvantaged and fewer opportunities youth towards gaining self-control, developing life skills, emotional development, awareness and clarity.
O3. Improving the youth worker’s skills for developing the organisational capacity of the partner NGOs by deploying the techniques and methods acquired for better supporting the purpose, mission, activity and impact of the organisations.

The TRAINING is for you if:

- You are a registered resident of Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Romania
- You are a volunteer, youth worker (young activist, peer educator, mentor, coach, trainer..), NGO staff (NGO manager or colleague, leader, office staff.) or representative of formal education
- You want to improve your personal and professional competences and work on your coaching and NLP skills
- You are willing to live, learn, play, inquire, reflect, experiment and explore in a multicultural group
- You are ready to take part in two intensive Training programmes
- You are able to work in English (medium to advanced)
- You are highly motivated and willing to actively participate during the both two training courses.
