The European Respiratory Society (ERS) has launched the 3rd call of the RESPIRE3 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellowships programme, co-funded by the European Union. Candidates from any discipline (e.g. life sciences, engineering, mathematics, information technology, biochemistry, pharmacology) are highly encouraged to apply to carry out research in any area related to respiratory science/medicine, in line with the ERS Roadmap (www.ersroadmap.org).
2-year European Fellowships or 3-year Global fellowships are on offer to talented scientists with the potential to become the future leader of tomorrow in respiratory research. There is thus a strong focus on training and career development.
Attractive working conditions include an employment contract, with living/mobility allowances (total gross, flat-rates of €71’000.- per year) and- if applicable – family allowance. Applicants can undertake their fellowship at pre-registered host centres listed on the RESPIRE3 Web Host Registry in Europe or worldwide, also depending also on the specific requirements of the European or Global Fellowships. Applicants must have been awarded a PhD (or have the equivalent of 4-year full-time research experience) as well as a 1st author (or co-author) publication in an international peer-review journal – by the time of the call deadline.
