AnimeGO! Short Anime Film Competition, 2019

Anime and film lovers – get creative and participate in the AnimeGO! Short Anime Film Competition 2019, to be in the draw to win a trip to Japan.

Simply create a short anime film (1-3.5 minutes in length) with this year’s theme of “Hachiko” for a chance to win.

Winners will be announced at AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival on 20 October 2019 in Adelaide, South Australia.

Entries will be judged by a panel comprised of representatives from each of the major South Australian Universities (University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, Flinders University) as well as Joseph Mitchell, director of the OzAsia Festival in Adelaide.

The top twenty submissions received will be screened at AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival 2019 in Adelaide.

The AnimeGO! competition is open worldwide. In the event that the winner is located outside of Australia (including Japan), the winner will receive a trip to Adelaide, South Australia.

The AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival is a festival organised and run by the Japan Australian Friendship Association (JAFA).
