The Netherlands Earth System Science Centre NESSC is still looking for 13 exciting and challenging PhD candidates on positions that are partly subsidised by the EU H2020 Marie S. Curie Cofund programme. Because of the European Cofund-financing, EU eligibility criteria will apply to a a number of the positions, to be decided upon once all applications have been received.
NESSC brings scientists together with a background in physics, earth sciences, ecology and mathematics. To better understand the processes behind climate change and to improve future climate projections and predictions. The ideal candidates are interested in climate research, are highly motivated to perform research in an excellent, exciting and international working environment, and are committed to a 4 year PhD track. They are excited about moving to the Netherlands and to perform a secondment at one of the NESSC COFUND Partner Organisations in the Netherlands or globally.
