The Research Training Group SocialCars – Cooperative (de-)centralized traffic management and the DAAD Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP) jointly award
Two Scholarships for Doctoral Studies in the Domains of Route Choice, Parking Space Management, Accident Modelling, Traffic Management, Vehicular Communications or Ridesharing.
Starting at the earliest on 1 October 2020 and at the latest on 1 December 2020, funding will be provided for up to four years through the DAAD GSSP.
Doctoral programme and projects
The goal of the research conducted in the Research Training Group SociaCars is to improve the safety, sustainability and efficiency of future urban traffic by cooperative traffic management strategies. A key research question is how individuals can make optimal use of the transport infrastructure so that safety is increased and congestion and pollution are reduced.
