The Institute for Sociology and Social Psychology (ISS) at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne is one of the largest and best-known social science institutes in Germany. Today, more than 100 academic and non-academic staff members are working at the ISS.
YOUR TASKS
Join the KINMATRIX team to collect and analyze large-scale survey data, genealogical data, and register data on family networks in Europe (www.iss-wiso.uni-koeln.de/kinmatrix).
Carry out independent PhD research within the remit of the project and under the primary supervision of Professor Thomas Leopold.
Write a cumulative doctoral dissertation consisting of at least four chapters.
Assist with administrative tasks related to the project.
Have no teaching obligation but may teach on a voluntary basis.
