The Institute Cancer et Immunologie (ICI) brings together research teams, hospitals and industrials working in the fields of cancerology and immunology. The treatment of cancers by stimulating the patient’s immune defenses is currently in full development and was the subject of the Nobel prize for medicine in 2018. The institute aims to strengthen bridges between the research and teaching teams of the Aix-Marseille University (AMU) faculties of sciences, medicine and pharmacy to set up an integrated international program of education, research, and exploitation of the results of research.
