Third-cycle subject: Fibre and Polymer Science and Chemical Engineering
The overall aim of the projects is to develop, and gain an improved fundamental understanding on the formation and final structure property relationship of novel lithium-ion batteries. The projects include development of new hybrid solid electrolyte materials as well as electrochemical characterization and modelling of the battery performance. The projects cover synthesis of hybrid solid state battery electrolytes and their function in solid-state battery concepts. Modelling and characterization of battery performance with respect to aging and safety will also be a topic.
