Materials Engineering:

Graphene, Polymer Thin Films, Biomaterials, Biomedical devices, Organic Semiconductors, Organic Photovoltaic Devices, Organic Field Effect Transistors, Organic LEDs, Theoretical and computational studies of organic electronics: molecular dynamics, charge transport, device optimization, Materials for Energy Applications, Battery materials, Microwave Pyrolysis.

Mechanical Engineering:

Computational fluid dynamics, environmental fluid mechanics, jet flows, buoyant flows, turbulent flows, multiphase flows, large-eddy simulation.

Natural convection, solar energy, biofuel, building ventilation and heating.

Finite element analysis, mechanical design to Australian Standards, metal fatigue, fracture mechanics, bulk materials handling and Lean manufacturing.

Civil Engineering:

Geotechnical Engineering - Mine backfilling, Soil internal erosion, Ground improvement, Slope monitoring, Numerical modeling.

Water resource engineering - Surface water and groundwater management; Saltwater intrusion in coastal aquifers, Characterization, and monitoring of groundwater contamination

Structural Engineering – Structural response to wind loading, Vulnerability assessments, Sustainable construction materials, Strengthening of aged infrastructure, Application of plastic and steel fibers in concrete.

Chemical Engineering:

Battery recycling technologies, Extractive metallurgy, Innovative process design, and developments.

Polymer Synthesis, Chemical Sensors, Complex Systems Risk Management, System Safety, Accident Analysis, Causal network analysis.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
