According to EUROSTAT and the WHO violent behaviours of European youth have increased since 2009. Youth violence was never consistently addressed by youth work's practitioners due to the discourse dominance of psychologists and sociologists. A critical review of theories and methodologies of violence prevention in the youth sector is thus urgently needed.

The main aim of the course is to facilitate the development ideas into good quality applications which are followed up by quality implementation of projects by young people. “Quality Mark (IT!)!” will be aimed at enabling potential applicants to hand in high quality applications in the frame of Erasmus+: Youth in Action.

“The Star of Europe” training course tackles each step of a youth exchange project and takes a step by step journey through youth participation and partnership by using visual material from the old Finnish game called “The Star of Africa”.

In “The Star of Europe” training module, the journey goes through Europe by searching of diamonds (important elements, principles) in youth exchange projects.
