Four PhD Scholarships in the Schools of Applied & Biomedical Sciences, RMIT University
• Designer solvents for new multifunctional nano materials (2 scholarships);
• Biophysical characterization of membranes during dehydration and freezing;
• Molecular mechanisms of general anaesthetics – a rational basis for safer anaesthesia.
Applications are invited for four cutting edge research projects in the above areas. RMIT is a global university of technology, focused on creating solutions that transform the future for the benefit of people and their environments.
Value and duration: The scholarships are valued between A$25,849–$29,849 per annum for up to 3.5 years.
Eligibility: To be considered for scholarship you must:
• hold, or be currently completing a Masters, including research, or a first class honours Honours degree in a relevant discipline.
• meet RMIT’s entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy.
• be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident. Or be an outstanding international candidate that can self-fund fees or be competitive for a fee waiver scholarship or similar.
