The Genome Stability and Innate Immunity Team, led by Dr Christian Zierhut, seeks to understand how innate immune responses are activated during genotoxic stress, and to establish how these regulate cell fate. Ultimately, we aim to develop rule sets for how cell fate can be manipulated during cancer therapy. We employ a multi-disciplinary approach that combines state of the art cell biology, genetic screening, biochemistry and structural biology techniques.

2 Postdoctoral Positions in Hypoxia, Cancer and Brain

Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Weibo Luo at the UT Southwestern Medical Center (http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/luo-weibo) to study hypoxia regulation and drug development in cancer and brain (Cancer Res 2020; JCI 2018, 128(5): 1937-1955; NAR 2018, 46(13):6576-6591; Cell 2011, 145(5):732-44; PNAS 2012, 109(49): E3367-76).

Fuel consumption of vehicles depends on several factors, including rolling resistance (RR). RR is defined as the energy lost when the vehicle tyre rolls over a pavement surface, and to a great extent is determined by three pavement-vehicle interaction (PVI) mechanisms: pavement roughness, texture and deflection.
