The FULL-MAP project, funded by the European Union, develops simulation approaches, machine learning tools, and characterization techniques for the accelerated design of novel battery materials. KU Leuven contributes with the following two tasks to the success of this project:
1) Development and implementation of physics-based continuum models to predict the cycle life of cathode and anode materials.
2) Training of a Large Language Model (LLM) that acts as a "co-researcher" in the pre- and post-processing of numerical simulations.
