KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm invites applications for up to two postdoctoral research positions in the general field of nuclear power safety. The successful candidates will join the Division of Nuclear Power Safety which conducts research on thermal-hydraulics and accident phenomena of risk importance to existing and future nuclear reactors, and also performs safety analysis for nuclear power plants, including design basis accident analysis and severe accident analysis with particular emphasis on light water reactors.
Combustion is responsible for 80% of our current energy supply and will remain to be extremely important in future due to its extremely high power-density. However, the utilized fuels will change more and more from fossil fuels to sustainable fuels like biofuels, solar fuels and metal fuels. To understand the underlying physical and chemical processes and to control them in such a way that the processes are ultra-clean and highly efficient is highly motivating.
urrently, there are two full-time Postdoc positions available at the Electrical Energy Systems Group at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the area of power quality for traditional distributed network system and power-electronics-dominated power system. The appointment for each position is for a fixed period of two years.
The Geophysical Fluid Dynamics group at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany, within the Department of Mathematics & Logistics, Focus Area Mobility, invites applications for
Four Doctoral Positions in Applied Mathematics/Fluid Dynamics
