The Engineering Doctorate (EngD) programme in Process and Equipment Design trains and educates trainees to become a qualified designer, capable of designing “fit for purpose” and “first of its kind” products, processes and equipment. Throughout the programme, the EngD trainee is (besides deepening and broadening knowledge) trained in teamwork, in multi-disciplinary problem-solving, and in project management. EngD trainees will gain expertise in process development, conceptual design and engineering activities.
