The recent, increasing amount of knowledge regarding lung cancer, especially in the field of basic science, holds promise for personalized treatment of these patients that would provide more effective and less toxic therapeutic approaches, improving the prognosis of the patients with thoracic malignancies. On the other hand, the immense bulk and the rapid recycling of the new information makes difficult its understanding, evaluation and interpretation by the clinicians.

Η Εταιρία Μελέτης Παθήσεων Διαβητικού Ποδιού (Ε.ΜΕ.ΔΙ.Π.) βρίσκεται στην ευχάριστη θέση να σας ανακοινώσει ότι θα πραγματοποιήσει το 5ο Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριό της με Διεθνή Συμμετοχή στην Αθήνα, 5-7 Φεβρουαρίου 2016. Xώρος διεξαγωγής είναι το Athenaeum Intercontinental στην Αθήνα.

Στο Συνέδριο θα αναπτυχθούν θέματα που αποβλέπουν στην ορθολογική και αποτελεσματική αντιμετώπιση των παθήσεων του Διαβητικού Ποδιού, αλλά και στην πολύπλευρη αντιμετώπιση του ασθενούς με ανάλογα προβλήματα.

LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries) is the main network for research libraries in Europe. The association, founded in 1971, includes more than 400 national, university and other libraries from over 40 countries. LIBER’s Annual Conference is one of the most important gatherings for research library professionals. During the event, participants can build networks and share information and ideas with one another. The conference is held in a different location each year.

6/2016 - The International Summer School (ISS) at the University of Oslo (Norway)

The International Summer School (ISS) at the University of Oslo offers intensive Master’s and Bachelor’s courses each summer, from late June to late July. Every year ISS welcome over 550 students from about 90 countries.

The ISS is an academic center for learning in an international context, and a forum for fostering intercultural understanding. It aims at developing and conveying knowledge and at promoting understanding between people from different cultures. This dual purpose is reflected in the ISS motto: ”Six Weeks of Academic Achievement and International Good Will“.
