Training Course: "Maker Education in Youth Work"

This - one week - course is targeted to youth practitioners and will give them the opportunity to learn about Maker Education and how to apply these concepts in youth work.

Maker education is a problem-based and project-based approach to learning. It emphasizes the use of low-tech and high-tech gadgets, a trial-and-error mindset, and it encourages learners to develop 21st century skills such as communication, creativity and problem solving.

This study visit will give participants understanding of different models of youth multi-service centers in Finland. The overall objective of all these centers is to strengthen the social inclusion of young people, to eradicate poverty among young people and to improve their employability and performance.
