In attached file the job description for the ALEAM project (Atlas of the Landed Estates of the Ancient Maghreb) funded by the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche). The 7-8 month job (depending on experience) involves creating a database/atlas based on an existing platform developed by the Ausonius Research Institute at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne.
The 'Digital Humanities' unit at the Ausonius Institute is a stimulating environment with specialists in databases, QGIS, modelling and computer languages for historical disciplines (e.g. Epidoc).
