The Earth and Environmental Sciences Group at James Cook University has a global research profile, and is one of the most research-intensive groups within the university. We are located in the tropical NE Queensland with direct access to the Great Barrier Reef, tropical rainforest, vibrant cities, diverse agricultural systems and world-class mineral provinces. Our research is supported by state of the art analytical facilities and excellent links to industry and relevant government agencies.
