Ideal candidates are interested in the fundamentals of criminal law and wish to write a doctoral thesis that is not merely based on the perspective of a user of positive law, but that analyzes the premises of criminal law evaluations or considers new problems and approaches to solutions, preferably with an interdisciplinary approach.
