European Solidarity Corps in a Residential Community for Girls

The Congregation of Buon Pastore has a very long story of commitment to the assistance of young girls and women. Its activity has always addressed the female world through the reception, education, and vocational training of the weakest, younger groups. In 2019 the Buon Pastore Cooperativa Sociale – Impresa Sociale was created. Now it runs two residential centers hosting and taking care of young girls and helping them in their independence and self-fulfilment.

Volunteer in Italy in a Residential Center for Unaccompanied Foreign Minors - TUIN

CEA (Educational Residential Centres) hosts minors taken by social services and temporarily separated from their natural families. In the CEA, they can live, grow, study, have fun and create significant relationships with peers and educators. Activities are structured to guarantee both group and autonomous spaces to the users.

La Comunità has recently opened a residential center for unaccompanied foreign minors called “Tuin - Il Giardino” where 16 minors live and develop their personal projects.

Associazione Il Ce.Sto Onlus has been involved since 1987 in the promotion of integration and social promotion processes among the different ethnicities living in the historical center of Genoa, with particular attention towards minors, second-generation migrants, and other actors in the neighbourhood.

ESC Volunteer in Kuldiga Technical School

The volunteer will work with a team at Kuldiga Technology and Tourism Technical School. Volunteer can create activities according to interests and level of skills. We will have weekly and monthly meetings to keep track of the activities in the organisation and help carry out their projects. In addition, he/she will be assigned a mentor to assist in their learning throughout the project.
