This training aims to support organisations hosting and sending volunteers through Erasmus+ / European Solidarity Corp to gain a fuller appreciation of how to maximise the transformative learning experience for each volunteer.

The training will explore the concept of transformative learning and how volunteering can transform our understanding of ourselves; our belief systems; and influence our behaviour/lifestyle choices.

The challenge is to be able to coach and/or mentor young people, especially when it comes to topics such as employability or entrepreneurship. The training aims to increase the quality of youth work, by focusing on coaching and mentoring of volunteers.

General Overview of the Youth Exchange:

The Youth Exchange "Time Travellers – The European Perspective II" is part of the long term project, called SOLIDARITY FOR ENLARGMENT AND INTEGRATION and will bring together young people from 6 different countries.

Aim: To encourage youth workers to develop more youth sport work projects that will explore and extract all the possible positive aspects of sports for developing ICL among our beneficiaries and inclusion of immigrants and other marginalised youth.

The training course will gather participants, trainers and staff from 9 organisations and countries (Germany, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, FYR Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia and Sweden).
