The number of migrant and refugee arrivals to Europe via the Mediterranean Sea in 2015 has reached more than 936,000. International Medical Corps has been working with local partners in Serbia and Greece since August providing medical care, psychological first aid and psychosocial support mainly through Mobile Medical Units (MMUs). As refugees arrive on the Greek islands of Kos, Leros and Samos we are providing medical care and psychosocial support. The MMU staff are also distributing hygiene kits to families and children.
