A new Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) at the University of Strathclyde will train researchers to EngD and PhD level in wind and marine energy. Funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), a total of 70 PhD students will be recruited for four years of training and research.
The IMPRS-CMS is a joint graduate program of the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research and the University of Stuttgart. The Stuttgart Campus hosts an extraordinary array of research groups with top-notch facilities and a wide spectrum of expertise in fundamental condensed matter science. Close interaction and cooperation between physicists and chemists, experimentalists and theorists at all levels is an essential element of research in the IMPRS-CMS.
