Cedefop, in cooperation with the European Commission and Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), invites to a conference/peer learning activity on the issue of national qualifications framework (NQF) impact. The purpose of the event is to stimulate an open and critical reflection on the current and future role of NQFs.

Do national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) make a difference – how to measure and evaluate impact of NQFs?

The International Conference "New Technologies, Hazards and Geoarchaeology" will take place in the historic and beautiful city of Athens on the 3rd of November 2017 and will be hosted by the Department of Physical Geography and Climatology of the National an Kapodistrian University of Athens. The conference is organised on the framework of the Erasmus+ Project "McAgenda", with the collaboration and co-organization of the Hellenic Committee for Geomorphology and Environment.

Η Open Science Fair θα παρουσιάσει τα στοιχεία που απαιτούνται για τη μετάβαση στην Open Science: ηλεκτρονικές υποδομές και υπηρεσίες, πολιτικές ως καθοδήγηση για βέλτιστες πρακτικές, ερευνητικές ροές και νέους τύπους δραστηριοτήτων.

Το OSFair2017 οργανώνεται ως εμβληματική πρωτοβουλία τεσσάρων δράσεων της ΕΕ στον τομέα της Open Science: OpenAIRE, OpenUP, FOSTER και OpenMinTeD και θα πραγματοποιηθεί 6-8 Σεπτεμβρίου 2017, στην Αθήνα.

Recent events have questioned the capacity of member states to coordinate and support each other in finding solutions to the economic and asylum seeker crises. The British vote on leaving the European Union signalled not only the incapacity of political elites to achieve consensus, but, more importantly, the Brexit is the expression of the popular discontent with one of the founding liberties of the Union – the freedom of movement – and the influence Eurosceptic parties can achieve over European electorates.
