The food and biotechnological sectors and the scientific and medical communities will share their knowledge in the third edition of “Growing Young”.

Fostering relations between agents from the food and biotechnological industry, the scientific community and the medical sector is one of the objectives of the "Growing Young" symposium, which will be held in Bilbao under the title of "FOOD HEALTH TECH".

How to get more youngsters actively involved in political decision-making? In the past two years the European innovation project EUth intensively engaged the field of youth eParticipation and developed the unprecedented digital participation toolbox OPIN, which is adapted to the needs of young people and supports the setup of participation projects. On the 7th and 8th of December, the project partners will present their results and the final version of the platform at the Open Summit in Berlin.

Η Ελληνική Εταιρεία Ορολογίας (ΕΛΕΤΟ), σε συνεργασία με το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (ΕΚΠΑ), το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης (ΑΠΘ), το Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΠΚ), το Τεχνικό Επιμελητήριο Ελλάδας (ΤΕΕ), τον Ελληνικό Οργανισμό Τυποποίησης (ΕΛΟΤ), τον Οργανισμό για την Διάδοση της Ελληνικής Γλώσσας (ΟΔΕΓ) και άλλους φορείς που θα ανακοινωθούν στην ιστοσελίδα του Συνεδρίου, διοργανώνει το 11ο Συνέδριο “Ελληνική Γλώσσα και Ορολογία”. Το Συνέδριο θα διεξαχθεί στην Αθήνα στις 9-11 Νοεμβρίου 2017 και αφιερώνεται στη μνήμη του Κωστή Παλαμά.

The purpose of BIOSTEC is to bring together researchers and practitioners, including engineers, biologists, health professionals and informatics/computer scientists, interested in both theoretical advances and applications of information systems, artificial intelligence, signal processing, electronics and other engineering tools in knowledge areas related to biology and medicine. BIOSTEC is composed of five co-located conferences, each specialised in a different knowledge area.
