All youth workers have to deal with the fact that the young people they work with are different from each other in many ways – this means that they have to manage diversity. Some differences are more obvious than others – such as ethnicity, religion or language. Diversity is more than the obvious differences, however – it also includes differences such as educational level, social and economic situation, sexuality, health and hidden or visible disabilities.

Training Course: "Online tools in youth work and non-formal learning" (Serbia)

“Online tools in youth work and non-formal learning” is seven day long international Training course that will took place in mountain Kopaonik in Serbia from 20th to 26th of January 2017. excluding travel dates.

TC will gather 30 youth workers, coordinators, leaders, activists, directly involved in work with young people, from 10 different countries, CoE member states: Serbia, Montenegro, Cyprus, Croatia, Albania, Macedonia, Turkey, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania.

Greek Team at Inter Alia's Educational Programme

Inter Alia is inviting you to apply for joining the Greek team of the “In Retrospect” project. “In Retrospect” is a project that explores the core European values through activities of remembrance and collective reflection. For 12 months, 640 citizens from 3 "old" EU member states (Greece, Germany, Belgium) which were actively involved in Yugoslav conflicts and 4 Western Balkan countries (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia & Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Activities will take place between November 2016 and August 2017.

Research on LTP and LTD, and their possible functions is now extending to include diverse aspects of memory encoding and consolidation, including areas of emotional learning in brain structures beyond the hippocampus. There is also growing interest in how dysfunction of activity-dependent synaptic plasticity is a likely contributor to a variety of neurological and psychiatric diseases.
