3 PhD positions regarding transport phenomena near interfaces are available within the Soft matter, Fluidics and Interfaces group. The project concerns experimental studies on interfacial osmotic effects, relevant for many transport processes for applications including (green) energy generation, water purification, (biomass) catalysis, and membrane separations. While the projects are mainly experimental, numerical simulations will be included as well. A 3-month training period (external) regarding numerical simulations will be part of the PhD trajectory.
