Training course focusing on EVS (European Voluntary Service) coordinator’s potential and competencies to successfully manage their projects and to guide volunteers in their learning process.

We believe that the role and personality of EVS coordinator is crucial for proper development of their EVS organizations and for personal development of hosted EVS volunteers. But how to create an environment of trusting and beneficial relationship between coordinators and EVS volunteers? And at the same time how to follow all the claims which the EVS philosophy brings?

2-6/11/2015-EVS in Israel: getting in touch with youth work realities

The study visit will tackle issues related to the reality of youth work and the volunteering in the society providing a vision about the different possible fields of projects’ implementation but also about the needs of youth in the country. The visit will allow participants to better understand the EVS projects and to create more consolidated partnership for the future. In fact, the main aim of this Study Visit is to provide a mutual vision of volunteering and be able to create new EVS project on the basis of a concrete common experience.

This training course covers the topics of vulnerability, spirituality, connectedness and nature, which are often missing in our fast-paced society nowadays. The course aims at supporting the participants in exploring these topics on both a personal and professional level.

9-16/8/2015- Training course "The Natura2000-Experience" (Neureichenau, Germany)

From our accomodation on the German side, we will explore the Natura trail Böhmerwald situated right in the border area. The Böhmerwald is a part of the Bavarian Forest, which is the largest connected woody mountains region in central Europe. Isolated for decades by the iron curtain, a truly primeval landscape with a diverse plant and animal life has been preserved here. Many species otherwise almost extinct in the rest of Central Europe still thrive in this region, from our largest wildcat, the lynx, to the tiniest birch mouse.
