15-20/06/2016 - Training Course "Let’s explore- Refugees today in Europe. Educational challenges and opportunities for youth workers" (Germany)

Since 2015 the migration of refugees became a focus topic of medial and political attention all over Europe. As a result of (civil) war, social and economic inequality and discrimination people are forced to escape from their home countries in search of a better and safe life.
This process leads to different challenges in society, education and youth work as apart of education. In our training we would like to invite youth workers to develop their capacity to raise awareness and address refugee related issues in their work with young people.

The EU-Russia Civil Society Forum invites young professionals aged between 25 and 35 from the EU, Russia, and other European states to apply for the 2nd edition of the “Europe Lab” Forum, a successor format of the “Pilorama Lab” Project held at the Memorial Centre of the History of Political Repressions “Perm 36” (Russia).

Forum for Young Professionals “Europe Lab” is a unique communication and exchange platform for change makers from all over Europe working in public administration, business, NGOs, universities, think tanks, and other fields of professional engagement.

Scholarship for European Forum Alpbach 2016 in Austria

European Forum Alpbach 2016 will be held under the main topic “New Enlightenment” from 17 August till 2 September in Alpbach, Tirol, Austria. It will allow explorers from the fields of science, business, politics, arts and civil society to find inspiration through dialogue.

The Forum will start with the Seminar week, offering 16 topics for morning and afternoon seminars and will continue with symposiums covering health, technology, politics, economy, architecture and other fields.

Learn to F.L.Y. in EVS:Learn to Facilitate the Learning process for Young people in European Voluntary Service

The aim of the training course is to improve the quality of EVS projects through empowering EVS actors to provide meaningful learning opportunities.
Learning is the most essential part of quality EVS project and different aspects [such as the lack of experience, tools or common understanding] can bring a challenge to create a safe environment for learning process of all actors.

The different realities in EVS organisations can cause more challenges to meet with the quality criteria of Erasmus+ Youth in Action program as well.
