“A mile in my shoes: tools for fighting discrimination and building more inclusive society”. TC will happen in Serbia, in March 2016 and involve 19 participants (18+) from 5 different countries.

Europe has been facing one of the biggest crises of refugees, immigrants and asylum seekers since long time ago. Thousands of refugees daily enter Europe, coming mostly from the Middle East, in search of better life. These people go through number of situations that most of us can’t even imagine.

CUT THE ICE is the title of the training course with specific focus on working with diversity in groups and youth exchanges. During 5 days, an international group of youth workers will focus on using methods to work around diversity, to discover and understand the concept of diversity and to acquire the needed competences to implement those during their youth exchange process.

The training is based on methods and approaches framing within the non-formal education field.
